How Teacher Taught a Frog To Fly
Who was this boy, it was me, and after taking that course four years ago my eagerness in Mathematics has not ceased if not it has increased. My teacher, Mr Sanborn, guided me and helped me get through a tough course, one which I would of failed with a less caring teacher. Some classes I had no clue of what was going on, in fact if I was a teacher I could not say I would of had the same patience that Mr. Sanborn held round energetic sixth graders.
One day I had received a test back after taking it a couple days ago, I did not feel to good about it and had no clue what to expect for a grade. When he handed me back the test a wave disappointment flooded over me as looked on the C that lay in front of me. Being a sixth grader this was one of the worst feelings in the world but Mr. Sanborn looked down on me with a reassuring smile. He wanted me to know that despite a bad grade I still had tried my best and that I could go over the test with him later on. There I sat during lunch block, just me and Mr. Sandborn, in his classroom solving the problems I couldn't answer on the test. He had given up his only lunch in a hope for me to understand the material. A teacher like him is a person everyone should aspire to be for he turned me into a student and tight a frog to fly.
